Clara Chu Yen Yong

Clara Chu Yen Yong is a graduate of the University of Reading, with LL.B (Hons) in 2017. She subsequently completed the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2019 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Malaysian Bar in 2020.  

With extensive expertise in conveyancing, Clara has successfully managed large-scale land and building acquisitions, along with the sale and purchase of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Her proficiency also encompasses banking and finance, where she has provided advice and representation for various local financial institutions in both conventional and Islamic financing for local and foreign companies.  

In addition to her conveyancing and financial expertise, Clara is adept at commercial drafting agreements, including shareholders agreements, investment agreements, distribution agreements, and more.  

Additionally, she advises clients on will drafting and the establishment of trusts, ensuring that their estate planning needs are effectively addressed. She assists clients in obtaining grants of probate and administration, providing a seamless experience from the initial grant to the transmission and transfer of estate assets to beneficiaries.
